Today I came to school in a good mood, it was a crt day (we get let out of school 2 hours early), so I was excited to do stuff with friends after school. But when I got to school, I was met with tears and desperation. One of my classmates had died the previous night. I wasn't really really close with this guy, but I sat near him and we talked a lot. He was the class clown, so today in class, it was dead silent, so we all left (whenever there is a death or extreme situation, you can leave the class room whenever u want, and there is always a room u can go to with a support team). This guy wasn't extremely popular, but was active in the arts, as am i, drama, and alliance (group trying to end homophobia). I had no idea how much his death would effect everyone, because I saw too many people crying in the halls today, and my high school is a school of over 2000. It touches me that the whole school kind of pulled together to get through this, but it makes me sick because there have been a few student deaths that have happened... anyways, my classmate died being hit by a drunk driver. He hit him on the way home... it kills me to see someone with so much potential have his life ended... I've coped with this type of death before, last year, around this time, a foreign exchange student from Argentina died in a car accident, being hit by a drunk driver....
.....sad...truely sad...i think no words can quite comfort the souls affected by such things...
...and this is the kind of thing that brings people together.....

you know, no matter what the weather, your old wolfman is just here for you. trough rain, sleet, snow or dark of night, i deliver, and here's just one more gift of my devotion
I went through something like that recently. The day after half term the whole school returned to find out the year 7 little disabled girl had passed away. Though extremely Its encouraging to see everyone pull together like that, means its actually possible in times of need. We all knew her by sight and she was really bubbly and now theres no one beeping us to move out the way. Her funeral was today and the headteacher and 2 others went to pay their respects.
Im guessing it was harder it being a unexpected death caused in horrible accident.

i cant even imagine how would it be if any of my classmates would die...and i dont even want to imagine cause it must be horrible...im feeling so sorry for you ...
i think theres way too many accidents that happen to young people...and if they`re caused by drunk drivers its even worste...
i dont know if this may help...but someday... we will all be together again...after life.. share dreams, laughter, (tears maybe) and other happy moments...
i strongly believe in this.... think of it as "oh i came first than you...hope you catch up to me...soon" but nothing dread or anything... its good that he died because death is a blissful thing. to put my opinion forward...we all die...meet again and share life once again eternally somwhere sometime and eventually one day...besides...he's now free from all the suffering , malice and other bad things in this life...but of course, his potential to make a difference in this world is gone now and those who loved him (and others who died specially in the tsunami wreck) will miss him (them)... but.....
ermm...
we all just have to make a space in our heart, treasure the moments that they were alive and move on....one day we will all follow and all be happy once again!
i too, had some bereavement in life, but ermm... nothing too direct.... but i just have to take it, and .... move on! think happy moments... as for your friend and you... think...."he just went to another school, its not like im never gonna see him again... one day!....."
Yeah
In my school rescently Just before march break IN one week 5 students died. It was really heard on our hole school. People where missing class crying i the halls. IT was a very sad time.
