A couple years ago my grandmother died the day before mothers day. 8 months before her death the doctors gave her 6-8 months. They told her that she had lung cancer AND tumor in her right lung.. they treated her for the cancer and then found out she didn't have the cancer.. so it made her very sick. Her sickness eventually gave her a blood clot near her brain, they removed it but couldn't keep it gone. So the day before mothers day she took her last breath @ 3:03am. I was really close to her too and I actually took care of her while she was sick.. I believe I was about 14 taking care of my grandmother AND going to school.. it's a rough situation to be in.. When she died, I took full blame, I thought that I would need to kill myself and then my parents got into a fight, my dad cheated on my mom and left her, she tried committing suicide, the strange thing about that is that I dreamed that happening the night it happened, but I didn't find out until the next day @ school because I was at a friends house.. I blamed myself for this too.. and thought I should die because of it and now I realize that life is too short anyway, I need to accomplish my dreams and goals and go for everything I want. Why throw down the drain everything that is in store for me? Honestly, I think that suicide is stupid... although I've had thoughts about it, doesn't mean I'm stupid, or I'm a bad person it just means that I'm thinking stupid, foolish things and shouldn't be. I wish you all the best and hope everyone recovers from the death of their loved ones.

I hope that I can encourage everyone to think right things and go for the things they want in life whether it be a new pair of shoes to a new best friend to a new car to their future occupation.. whatever it maybe hopefully y'all will learn a lot from me as I've been through so much and experianced things most teens havent or hopefully don't!

LoL. I've been told that I'm a great writer. I actually want to become a writer when I am out of college, I'm going to go to college for it too, so maybe you will! I actually plan on writing a book about my life.. I've written many poems and every one of them my family is amazed by and thinks I should get them published but.. I don't LoL because I dont think they are that good. But anywho, Thanks hun!!
That story touched me thank you, you got everything corect. It is such a shock when people you are close tha pass on. You just feel so alone and depressed. Just recently about one month ago my Grandmother passed away. She was healthy and fine and she just had a heart failure. It was such a shock, I felt so sad, since I have had so much death in my family. I am sorry about your Grandma, I know it is hard loosing someone you love. I am happy that you are moving on and how you still want to acheive your dreams, that's great. And knowing you want to go to college is very good. I hope you do write your own book one day, I would love to read it in the future.

I can identifiy with you completely, my mother has been very sick since i was 4. I see her in pain everyday, and there were times that i felt that it was my fault that i could solve her problem and help her. It hurt so much to see her like that you know. There was a point after i came to the relization that my mom was going to die young, that she would probably die in a hospital lieing in bed scared, that i wanted to end my life. THen i came to my scences and remebered thats the last thing my mom would want. Death is just another adventure into the unknown and its better when you have to prolong the adventure right.
I hate seeing my mom in pain, when the whole situation with my dad and my mom happened, my dad ran my mom over and then left her again.. he likes to play games and come and go.. I didn't even know that he had ran her over because I wasnt with them, when my mom got home she was all banged up, she had been in the hospital and she was taking the things she'd given my dad and putting them in the house so he couldnt come get them. She didn't want him on the property and we had to keep the doors and windows locked and we werent to let ANYONE in the house. It was really scary. My brother had ran away too because my dad was going to come and get him and he didn't want to go with my dad but my dad was going to make him go, so he ran away , my mom was on the phone with the police trying to find my brother and trying to stay away from my dad at the same time, my mom had my brother go to our old neighbors house so that he could stay there, to try to protect him. I'm going to stop rambling now. Peace & Love
WHat do you mean her ran her over, like with his car??? or like Phycologicaly?? i would have called the ploice to i mean would he be like in you know TROUBLE if he ran your mom over. I know this may sound like a really stupid question but do you hate your dad or are you one of these people who are like " hes my father , i love him blah blah". i mean i can understand if you feel conflicted but i think im really sure that if i were you i would hate him. i mean some one who makes you that scared and hurts you so much cant possibley do it out of love???
well, let me be honest with you.. he is not my dad.. he never has been and he never will be.. yeah he was married to my mom, and he was my dad for oh.. 16 years he helped take care of me, but I've always hated him, and his daughter, has always hated my mom. Our family just seems to butt heads all the time. And yes he DID run my mom over with his CAR and no he didn't get caught because he took off before paramedics and police got there, and she, being stupid, didn't press charges. He tries to kiss me or hug me(when I see him) and I push away from him(I don't live with my mom anymore) he tells me he loves me and I don't say it back.. I feel bad but I don't have to do what I don't want to. He's even asked my mom, earlier in our life if I hated him, and I lied and said no.. but I've never liked him I feel like I'm forced to call him Dad.. My mom even asked my if I wanted him to adopt me.. I guess I've made a lot of right choices when it's come to me and my family eh?? soon I'll be 18 and I won't have to put up with him anymore, LIFE GOES ON. I knoq Family life is really hard and even harder when your mom and parents are crazy. ITs even worse if you dont like your dad. I mean i have alot firneds who have similar problems with thier parent(s) and Being a teen doesnt hep, your confused enough you know. cool

Im living with my aunt and uncle, but I'm going to be 18 in Feb. which is like 9 months away, and when I turn 18 I'm either gonna go live with a friend in Kansas or Arizona.. or I'll go find my own place.. but I wanna be living with someone while Im finishing high school and going to a community college.. we'll just see where I end up..
That sounds creat. ITs really important ot finifh school and got to collage or university,i know alot of poeple who have family problems and are not so smart and drop out. THats the worst mistake you could make. And i am true gladu you made the desition to stay. cool
