It's so sad about the boy that was ran over, im sorry to hear it.
I expect you find it easier to talk to her online because you arent face to face, and i expect you cant imagine what she has been through (altough i do not know)
I think that just by talking online can make a difference, i suppose you dont want to say something wrong to her when you see her in public, try to get the confidence to talk to her about this and soon you should really have made a difference, im really glad you talk to her becuase you can show her you really care
