Im reading a book called My sweet Audrina by V.C Andrews. Its really good. I love all V.C Andrews books! Its really good . Here is what it says on the back of the book ...
Audrina Adare wanted so to be as good as her sister. She knew her father could not love her as he loved her sister. Her sister was so special, so perfect -- and dead.
Upstairs in the locked room were her sister's clothes and dolls, her animals and games -- and her sacred rocking chair, which held the secret of all her sister's gifts. Now Audrina will rock and rock and claim those gifts.
Now she will come face to face with the dangerous, terrifying secret that everyone knows.
I read "Where the blackbirds sing".Pretty good book about this guy,Dominic who is called for the war .He leaves his beloved wife in Australia n goes to England where he meets his ex-fiance.The book is about his confusion regarding his wife, ex-fiance n his wife.
The backdrop of war creats a very good effect.Great book to read if u love romantic stories n otherwise too.
I just read "Nineteen Eighty-Four" by George Orwell for school.
It's a political novel written in the 1940's about the future of the world after the wars. It's a very deep novel, and i found it hard to read at times, but over all i enjoyed it.
It's one of the classics of all time, and should be read at least once in a lifetime.
Wow that a lot of different books. i like reading fantasy mostly. i pick up a book read the back and if its interesting i buy it. most of the book i find i really like. you should try it.
eragon is a good book so is across the nighting gale floor any of tamora pirce books are good too (sorry f i spelt that wrong)
you just need to explore. when u ask about books its hard to talk about cos there are sooooo many.
yeh, the lian hearn novels are great, they take you into the lives of the samurai, and leave you wanting more. i like the tales of the otori. it really reaches into you and sucks you in. i read the trilogy, and now i want the sequel.
I read mainly nonfiction, or metafiction, some books I've read recently and really enjoyed have been, 'Sophie's World' (by jostein gaarder) which is a metafiction book about the history of philosophy it was aimed at a younger audience (teenagers) and gets the history accross without it being to boring. also 'Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance' (by robert m pirsig), which is another metafiction book about philosophy, it's a seventies classic from what i've been told and has a lot of really interesting things on the siubject of quality.
Another book i read recently and really enjoyed was 'Smoke and Mirrors' (by dan baum), which is a history of the american war on drugs, was a great read and makes you realise how much of the laws associated with drugs are there for political reasons not safety.
I could dribble on about books for hours so i'll just leave it at this for the moment I might come back and post more about what i've been reading soon.
