Book - The Cosmic Serpent, DNA and the origin of knowledge

The Cosmic Serpent, DNA and the origin of knowledge - Jeremy Narby

An anthropologist researching South American Indians finds himself in the midst of a Ayahuasca induced psychedelic state, starts seeing serpents and DNA.
Spends the next few years researching the parallels between polytheistic creationist serpent myths and DNA.

Absolutely amazing read, if you've ever thought about the origin of knowledge read this book.

I don't think that's happening anytime soon. BIG, long, horrifying book...

As in, the one I'm reading now...

What's the big long horrifying book you're reading? The Bible?

Harry Potter: And the Order of the Pheonix - but no, it's not really THAT big, long and scary...okay, but still. And no, the bible is not as scary.
