i finally turn 18 after a whole year of bein 17 in uni( which trust me is a bad thing) we used to go into the pub for lunch and if we had a break from lectures and got served no problem. i went in with my friend yesterday and the barman that usually there, that i have had full blown conversations with came up to me and said sorry but we don't serve 12 year olds in here!! when i said im not 12 i'm 18 he told me to prove it and when i took out my passport he started laughing and said "there is no way in hell that is you!!" even though i had about 4 other types of photo id with me!!!! so anyway we left..............then when i went out later that night i was talking to this guy and after about a half hour he asked me what age i was and when i said that i was 18 he said i was way too young for him even tho he was the one who came over to me in the first place and he was the one who refused to go away and kept butting into my conversation with my friends!!!! so anyway then i was dancing with my friend and this guy came over and guess what his chatup line was............................. "hi, are you 12???"
haha!! i think so!! i have 3 or 4 id cards but the bouncers wont look at them cos they don't believe that i'm really 18!! some of them are alrite tho...thankgod!
At least you don't look older then your age Debs! i know heaps of people that look mid-20's and they are only my age (17-18) I don't know what age i look....... prob old XD
Aww I know exactly what you feel like. I'm 16 but i get mistaken for my sister who is 4 years younger. And the worst part is when you are asked to show identification but they just DONT believe you. Im like wtf, you asked, i showed proof, deal with it. I think it runs in my family though. My cousin is 28 and she used to go clubbing until last year and they still ask her for ID.
