I totally agree with u recca. Cutting does not help u but it instead makes u feel more depressed. Its does not let u forget of wat has happened n keeps u reminding of it again n again as the scar is there forever. So why cut n hurt our ownself !!
Cutting yourself is the most idiotic thing anyone can do. Why do it? And if you do do it, do it right.
Idiotic's a little harsh no? Some people can't help it. I think it's more like a self destructing habit that you can't get rid off. I think it is kinda difficult to understand. Sometimes I'll sit there and wonder how causing yourself more pain helps get rid of the pain you're already feeling. Doing it right is a good piece of advice though. The best thing woud be to try and stop, but for some that's very difficult. Cutting can be really dangerous if done wrong. The cuts could get infected, you could cut just that little too deep...
It's best to get help, even if it can be the hardest thing to do.

What other methods have you tried of expressing yourself?
I express myself through my music and writing, so maybe if you found another outlet like writing poems which can be as short and precise or long and epic as you want them to be. Or even trying to find a sport that maybe you would really enjoy but haven't had the guts to try. It's hard to give up but it's worth it in the end and your arms (or wherever you cut) will thank you for it in the end.
