Basically, somebody who knows how Teenville works and has been around for a while 'adopts' somebody new who doesn't know how Teenville works and teaches them what they need to know, answers their questions and makes sure they settle in well with everybody else.

I will adopt ya if you want. You've actually been here longer than I have, but I run my own website like this so I know how to use it and stuff.
And I've always wanted a daughter. *wipes tear away from eye*
