Is it racist to suggest that there is such a thing as black culture? If there is such a thing as black culture, does disliking that culture make a person racist?
Disliking it isnt too. People are entitled to whatever they wish to acknowledge without deliberately beng racist or advocating racism. to my opinion anyways.
unless you are a part of the culture, how can you decide that you dislike it?
I think it's an extremely judgmental thing to dislike an entire culture unless it is your own, if it is your own then it's not racist, but disliking a culture by judging some instances of it is what i would consider racism.
no, racisim, is when you use their culture and colour to discriminate them, if you are being horrable to them then yes that is rascist hun, u aint bein rasict tho. A cant stand racist people. hope a helped ya hun x
1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.
what you are describing is an intolerance to black culture which, regardless of how it's played out is racism. how do you treat people of a culture you can not tolerate?
Racism is the doctrine of dislike of varying values of a culture and/or the people of that culture, any many cases because of a person in the culture. Nothing more and nothing less.
Recognizing any culture isn't racist. In fact, more often then not, it's racist to not acknowledge the black culture, as you do not recognize the particular values associated with it.
I don't believe in "racial equality". I believe in "racial distinction and ipseity". Races transcend equality. They are not equal. Rather, all races all distinctive. None are equal, superior, or inferior. It is futile to attempt to make races egalatarain. All races are unique. Recognizing a race as possessing certain positive qualities that another does not is not racism.
