God is perfect, he's 100%, thats why he could take all ur sin away wen he died on the cross! U kno God wants to help you always, but maybe now ur thinking about it, ur actually starting to hear him talking to you! He's always been there but mayb u havent heard him up till now!
God says that each sin is equal, because when Jesus died on the cross, he took the punishment for everything we've done wrong. The thing with forgiveness is that it has to be accepted. You cant be forgiven if you dont acknowledge what ur being forgiven for and accept u need forgiveness. U need to accept that God is forgiving you for everything, absolutely EVERYTHING you've done and are going to do wrong, only then is that forgiveness complete because u know that uve been forgiven!

God did say build churches, but he meant churches as in people, not buildings. Buildings are just places to meet. The church is the people inside. He said that we should all have fellowship together and worship together because it means we provide support and teaching to each other so we can understand God better. Things like church picnics are times when the church meets together for fellowship, but its not like we do it every day!
As a christian, God knows i cant help the poor or the needy everyday, but asks me to do it as much as i can. He does actually say in the bible that u have a duty to urself and ur family to make sure they are in good shape as well! He doesnt just command help the poor! But we do give to the poor and the needy.

You remember the Tsunami appeal? Funny how all that has disappeared from the news in just 6 months isnt it? You know the church still prays everyday for that sitation?Did u know that 4/5ths of all the charities out in that situation in the first month were christian charities?Did u know that the majority of charities still working in that area are also christian? God calls people to serve the needy in different ways, sometimes with food, sometimes with prayer, sometimes with conversation. Do u really think giving a beggar the change in ur pocket will make a lasting impact on their life?
You know there are christian groups who go out every week and talk to these people, and try to motivate them into a new life, where they are no longer begging, but working for themselves and making their own lives better. We don't give money or work, we give support to the people who need it the most. But its like God, he doesnt do things for you, he gives you the MEANS with which to do them, he provides what u need, but he wants you to go out and do it for yourself!

U know he also says something else? He says that in Heaven, those who have gone through the most suffering on Earth will be given the most rewards in Heaven! Imagine, ur poor and needy for 75 years, but then ur rewarded and pampered for the rest of eternity! I'm not saying leave the needy like that, im sayin that the people who help never comes to still get what they deserve in the end!

As a christian in todays world, im challenged everyday to give money to give my time and to give my support to so many different things, so i give as best i can, but i know i cant do everything, otherwise id just collapse n end up with no place to live and no way to keep myself living. What use am i to God dead? God wants us to look after ourselves so that we have the means to help others. We should put others first, but not tosuch an extent as to endanger ourselves. Like i sed before, he is our FATHER. He would want u to help people, but he doesnt want u to hurt urself doing it, unless its necessary in order to help!

God loves you n he's talking to you everyday. Sometimes it just takes u to sit down and listen. Its funny cos when u listen, u learn....

Well he gave up on me a long time ago. why now? I always thought of him when i was younger, but nothing. He made me become nothing. I am just an artist, who does art, and what is that good for? Nothing. If god did love he wouldn't make me become something miserable. I don't think i do belong in this horrible world. Everything you say seems understanble, but what if it useless?

On the contrary to what most may believe, God controls everything in this chaotic world! It's tough to explain to non-believers how He is everywhere, and that he actually does care about you and is there for you. I'm a christian, and I still find it mind-boggling to this day that he can love me so unconditionally! I don't know how many times I've come across the words "unconditional love" in the bible... as hard as it is to believe, he does love you... he loves everyone! That's hard to wrap your mind around, because we're only human, we have limitations... but God still loves us. I went on this church retreat a couple years ago, and I was struggling with the question "Why in the world does he love me??" The answer is...He created us! We're his babies in a sense!! I mean... who do you know that would give up their only child to save the rest of man kind from going to hell?! THAT my friends is how much he loves us, he gave up his only Son (Jesus, who could have backed out of all the torment, but he didn't cuz He loved us just as much!)... and that's how I know he loves us. People, Jesus loves you... all you have to do is accept that and have faith, and though life won't be perfect, it will give you something to look forward to in the end. (the whole eternal bliss thing in heaven, yeah that's going to be AWESOME)
Everyone has their doubts about God sometimes, no honest christian would tell you they never doubt... but you can look at it like this... I would rather believe that there is a God with a Son that died for our sins, and die to find out there isn't, rather than live and believe that there isn't a God, and die to find out there IS. Now that would bite the big one.

Unconditional love was what i was talking about when i said God loves you, with no "buts" or "ifs". Unconditional means there are no conditions, he just LOVES you, whether you want him to or not, he does!

U say ur an artist, art is a wonderful thing!God has given u an amazing gift there! Many people take great joy in looking at beautiful pieces of art, maybe God has given u that gift so that u can bring a little more joy into the world!

If ur sad, y dont u try looking at the positives in ur life. U sed u hav a fiance so uve found someone who loves u! Thats a great thing in a world full of hate! Ur art is another positive, if you look at it from the point of view i put above! U get to cheer up lots and lots of people!

I agree with "myself" because it is really hard to explain and sometimes, u do doubt, its natural! But i choose to believe because i can feel God at work in me and i choose to let him have control. Sure sometimes im sad, sometimes i get angry, sometimes im angry at God! but that doesnt change the fact he loves me and wants whats best for me!

When u die, u will come before God and he will either reward you for ur works on earth and welcome u to Heaven, or he will turn away from u and say he never knew u, because u have chosen not to believe in him in ur life. Thats the choice, eternal life, or eternal suffering in Hell. You can say its unfair or that it doesnt make sense, but in the end we are all given the chance to believe, because God wants u to know him n he loves u and wants u 2 come to Heaven! He wants to have a relationship with u and bless ur life, u just hav 2 let him in.

People look at the world and say "Why is the world such an evil place? How can God be here in all of this?" Well i'll tell u, God is here. I'll give you another example, a little story:

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard
trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good
conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber
said: "I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God
doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond, because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just
after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long,
stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and
un-kept.

The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed.
"Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people
with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist!
What happens is, people do not come to me."

"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point!
God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

you have amazing points and I understand you completely. It's amazing how stories can give facts. I would just like to knwo something. I still want to knwo one thing. Where can i find him God? I am lost and in pain. I don't even know how to make myself happy. These days I haven't been smiling nor laughing anymre becuase If i do then i think someone might think i am stupid. Is it stupid to be yourself? I don't know veyr much about myself. Also I am a paranoid dilusional. What can i do to help myself?

Ali I believe everything you say, but somethings I just can't imagine is true. I am sorry to say it, but that is the truth.
Like you said art makes some of us happy. My fiancee is really happy when I draw or sculp, but I don't know why it makes me feel so sad. I know art is there, but why me?

You need to understand that u r loved! U seem to always talk urself down, well how bout talking urself up? God seems to hav blessed u wiv a great gift n wiv a great guy who enjoys ur interests, so y not try thinking 2 urself "U know what, God loves me because i'm ME and i'm great!". It sounds arrogant, but its true! God created u to be u n no one else, so enjoy the fact that God has given u ur life! Be urself cos God created u that way!

You sed also that u dont know where to find God? God is everywhere, u can speak to him whenever u choose to, but u have to b willing to listen. If i try to find God, i sit in a quiet room n just try to think about God. I ask questions like "who is he?" n "what does he want?" to myself. I then get a little voice type thing in my head which isnt my own talking to me. It sounds crazy n i can see y people think it wud b "the voices in ur head" n all that, but i know its God cos it feels different! It feels like something pure n it always makes me feel better!
Do u have any christian friends that u kno of? try talking to them, asking them to pray for u to help find God.

God wants to know u, he really does, its just a question of reaching out to him and taking his hand. Its hard when uve never experienced it before because u dont know what ur looking for, but when u find it, i promise ull know that its God, because it wont just feel like ur mind, ull feel him in ur heart too. He's knocking on the door, n uve just got to open it for him!

Just to say, i'm going away for a week or so now (10 days), so dont worry if i dont post, im still here if u have any questions or want to talk about nefin! I just may not reply for a little while!

I will be going 6 days on august 10th at florida. I will be meeting with some friends too and family members.
Let me tell you a story about myself. I was once 1-14 and I was happy and happy for so long. Now It feels that my whole happiness has dissapeared. I haven't laughed very much or smiled at all these days. I feel that I am fading away from everything. When I am in a room alone I cry becuase I feel that no one is there for me. It feels like everyone hates me. I don't know why, but it just feels like I am not here.
My step mother, who adopted me, makes me feel like an outkast and my sisters too. i don't know why, but my fauther never makes me feel that way. It shows a lot that he loves me. I dont understand maybe I don't like mothers. Well I am adopted and my real m other left me. I guess that is why I do not like mothers very much. I do love my fiancee's mother and family, but I guess it's because it's another family.
I want to be happy again and I know I have lost it all.
