Hmmm i guess the beginning is good.
ok How to start a spell. I should say that people usually don’t do spells until about a year and a day of studying, you also must be good a meditation. And channeling energy, but if your very passionate about something and think that it will work, knowing what your doing is key.
Also sticking with the Wicca faith you must follow the Wicca creed, Harm Non, no personal gain. You can’t screw around (pardon the French) with peoples will. So No love spells, no money spells, and no spells that will hurt someone (like a curse for incense).( if you do then youll get it back three fold i have had person experence with this law of 3 fold trust me its true.
I know it may seem like a bummer but for example a love spell you cant do right, but you can do a spell that will make your good qualities in yourself know and seen more clearly to others(or a specific person). Also no money spells but you can do a spell that will give you the chance to get that good job. And so on.
Ok so how to go about it. Spells can’t just be done; it’s a ritual that needs respect and seriousness. Ok so to start any ritual or spell you need: salt, chalk, 4 candles (or something that represents all of the 4 elements. candles work because they have fire, melted wax (water), smoke or the air need to make the candle burn, and the hard wax, or wick for earth. If you cant burn candles in you home I feel sorry for you
don’t worry though you can use the salt for earth as well as protection, a knife or dagger (called an athame, ceremonial, usually not sharp) for air, water for water, and fire a wand or a stick will work. You’ll need a compass too.
(If you don’t have one don’t panic some people say that because when you cast a circle you are essential opening a door to a different plane that the directions are different there anyway.
To start: Go to an area in you home where you wont be disturbed for a while, and with hard wood floors, or something you can draw on with chalk. You can do this out side if you wish.
Sweep the area, you don’t even have to touch the floor its to get out negative energy, sweep it out the door or if out side you don’t have to either way walk around the space your going to use and say:
I cleans this space
. Draw a large circle with chalk around the area where you will be performing your spell. You should be able to sit or stand in it comfortably with all your equipment. Leave a small part of the circle open. Take out the salt walk around the out side of the circle and sprinkle it around. Say the words:
I protect this space
. Once you walk in the circle and join the chalk lines, you should wait and leave this part till the end to make sure you have everything. Take out the compass (after your inside closed circle) and make the element points on the ground (NSEW) lighting to the candles clock wise with the elements starting with north (some people like the stat with west then east, doesn’t matter). At this point stand up and say this 3 times (Cast A Circle)
I cast the Circle Thrice around
All within my majick’s bound
A sacred space
A Healing Place
Safe from harm by spirits grace.
After saying this three times, meditate for 15 minutes or however long it takes to focus and clear your mind of everything but the task at hand, then you are ready to start your spell.
For you spell to work on a higher level, you can call the corners; invoke a specific god or goddess. There are many other ways as well so if anyone is interested and wants help just say so. I can tell you how to do this later
You have to end the circle once you’re done to, ill talk about that another time to later this is long enough already. I’m trying to be basic ,there are many things you can do, and many different ways of doing them.
