I'm doing my GCSE mocks , and I'm wondering if you think its a good idea. I think they are alright in terms of preparing you of whats to come but sometimes schools take it too far. I mean, I had a pre-mock last year, which was a mock for the mocks. And if you did mocks, did you do better than what you achieved come your actual exams? Did they motivate you or just depress you?

HMM, i think we HAD to take mocks, so in my case they were forced upon us. Mocks can be helpful to get you into gear but if you have a choice i guess it would be your call, it would certainly prepare you for what to expect in the real exam. So it would be beneficial on the other hand i got bored
i found that they helped. although i only got them in a few subjects like maths and graphics...

Mocks really help me. I get used to the exam style questions through the test papers. But normally i dont revise for them so i only do alright but with the real exam i actually revise so i do better (obviously)

Mocks probably help really well oppose to an unofficial study. I know that studying with friends who can't realise the meaning of school is really a "must not" but it's also okay to study on the computer. Again, it's unoffcial but at least it gets you somewhere in life.
