i agree to that, devlish, but making love does make more of a passionate time with your partner it can be explosive, rather than an instant relief. i guess it means different things to different people, all comes down to that person.

techincally ...
both terms are referring to the same thing ...

although they can be seen as being different ...

i dont think sex is as meaningless as purely a physical release ... i would say it is "lust-oriented" and an expression of this ...

making love would be a more meaningful sexual experience with someone u love as an expression of this ...

they are different but neither one is better than the other ...

Love Re: making love/having sex? is there a difference!

Well in my opinion there is no big difference in the two, but according to my parents and such..making love is to have sex with someone you really have feelings for and really love and it is something special and sex..well that is just bang bang bang booom kinda 1 night thing just to do it...but eitha way both of dem r fun

Re: making love/having sex? is there a difference!

Personally, I think 'love making' is just what people think is the nicer word than 'sex'.

But I did find this on Yahoo! Answers and I guess it's a pretty good idea.

What the difference between sex and making love?
when you have sex you tend to only think about trying to get yourself off. but i think when you make love you think about you and your partner
